LS Multi Copter Projects and Services (PTY) Ltd (LSMC) is licensed by the South African Civil Aviation Authority as a commercial Remote Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) services provider with well qualified and experienced pilots.

LSMC’s SACAA accreditation, RPAS Operating Certificate and Air Service License is largely recognized internationally where LS has conducted international work in numerous countries across the globe, with various pilots holding accreditation in the EU and USA Part 107 Licenses.

LS’s adapted RPAS have repeatedly done service in Africa, Europe, Scandinavia, South America, North America and Asia.

The company prides itself for its customer requirement sensitivity and specialist offering of a wide range of drone applications using its diverse fleet of drones appropriately equipped for services ranging from high level engineering applications to basic photography. We specialize in in-flight radio frequency measurement using our diverse RPAs fleet consisting of DJI Phantoms, DJI Matrice 210 series, multiple DJI Matrice 300 RTK series and a DJI Matrice 600 Pro.

Where LS supports its spatial RF measuring services with airborne site inspections/ morphology modelling, a powerful information pool is also established for regulatory, planning and operational purposes in the telecommunications industry.

All prescribed operational regulations as per SACAA – CAR101 are adhered to during flight operations.

Being an accredited RPAS service provider LS is fully insured to cover any unlikely eventuality during operations.

The company has expanded its offerings over the years to a wide range of services with the establishment of an in-house Anechoic Chamber and the LS of South Africa Training Academy.

The LS of South Africa Training Academy was established to contribute to the skills development of all clients in the radio engineering, telecommunication and spectrum management industry, public broadcasters and communication regulators.

We offer training courses covering a variety of topics in broadcast, spectrum management, digital mobile and microwave link planning, radio network planning and telecommunication regulations.

The academy is also a MICTSETA accredited training provider for the Certificate in Broadcast Engineering (ID no. 48792) and we offer several unit standards specifically developed for SETA.
